A BIT OF BACKGROUND

About Me:

Hi! I'm Naomi

I’ve loved the Border Collie breed for as long as I can remember. Over the years that love has grown into a real passion for training, competing, learning more and aiming to better the breed.

I actively compete in Kennel Club Agility with my dogs, reaching Grade 7 and running in Championship classes. We also enjoy canicross and regularly take part in races together. It’s a great way for the dogs to stay fit and for us to build an even stronger bond.

My Approach to Training

I believe in kind and effective training using force-free, reward-based methods. My focus is always on building clear communication and trust between me and my dogs. I’m constantly learning and staying up to date with the latest research in canine behaviour and modern training techniques.

Why I Occasionally Breed

Breeding wasn’t something I originally set out to do, but that changed when one of my dogs grew into such a brilliant, driven and well-balanced companion that I wanted to carry those qualities forward.

I only breed occasionally and with the intention of keeping a puppy to bring on in training and sport. Health, temperament, structure and working ability are my top priorities. All my breeding dogs are fully health tested, including DNA testing as well as hip, elbow, shoulder and spine scoring. I keep up with the latest developments in genetics and responsible breeding practices.

My aim is to raise Border Collies who thrive in sport, enjoy training and also know how to relax and just be part of the family.
